Improvisation is, at its core, a mindfulness practice: We are fully present in the moment, letting go again and again of impulses to plan or control. We learn to make our partners look and feel good and to enjoy the act of giving. As we develop these skills, we find that some unnamed thing starts to arise between players; that the scene organically unfolds.
We offer 2-hour workshops, 4-hour retreats, and a 5-week course.
Drop In to Mindfulness (online)
Weekly gathering which begins with a talk or discussion at 6:30pm and silent meditation from 7:00-8:15. Meditation instruction and guidance are offered on request and always for those new to meditation. Although the talks are often informed by buddhist ethics or psychology, people of any or no faith or philosophy will feel at home here. Please arrive and leave at your convenience, at any time during the evening.
Thursday evenings. Talk at 6:30, guided or silent meditation from 7:00-8:15 pm.

One-on-one sessions for individualized training, personal practice guidance, and targeted application of mediation to goals or challenges. Single sessions or multiple meetings, according to your needs.

Day-long meditation retreats (Retreats are currently held online for the safety of all)
Day-long meditation retreats suitable for both new and experienced practitioners. Retreats consist of sitting and walking meditation, a short talk, and time for both public and private discussion. There is no fee for retreats, though gifts of generosity will be accepted. Retreats take place at a private residence.
Quarterly, typically on a Saturday from 9am - 5pm

Meditation: Laser Tag!
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to stay calm when aliens attack! The skills you learn in the arena will be there when you need them in real life. During this two hour workshop you will learn to access calm in high stress situations, through personalized instruction and three live laser tag games. Suitable for team building, staff training, club activities, and any group looking for a fun way to reduce stress.
